Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a deep physical practice that develops awareness and releases inner physical and emotional tensions.

The postures in Yin Yoga are held for longer periods of time (around 3-5 minutes) to help target the deeper tissues of the body, the connective tissue such as the joints and ligaments and the fascia. Our society is structured in a very ” Yang” fashion, encouraging busyness and productivity. This creates an imbalance in our life and is the reason why Yin Yoga makes for a supportive practice to bring balance back to your life.
