A strong core is essential for everyday movement, from picking up kids, carrying groceries, to lifting kayaks onto cars!
Pilates is a core strengthening discipline that strengthens the back, hips, and abdominal muscles. Maintaining a neutral spine during specific exercises, students will gain strength in the core muscles, an increase in flexibility, improved posture and balance.
Yoga postures focusing on the navel point will also be incorporated into this class. Pilates and Yoga is suitable for everyone as we will modify postures accordingly to ensure that you move safely through the class.
